On Sunday, May 6th at 3PM, Bridgetown Baptist Church will host a special service during which Rev. Dr. George Allen will be installed as Pastor Emeritus by the Bridgetown Baptist Pastoral Charge.

This honour is being conferred in appreciation of his exemplary service as Pastor from 1969-1983, and acknowledging his 70 plus years of faithful Christian ministry.

A reception will follow the service in the Church Vestry.

Fifty-eight people gathered at the Smith's Cove Fire Department Hall on Saturday, November 26, 2011 to pay tribute to Rev. Ron Baxter and Rev. Wayne Fevens, retiring CABC Regional Ministers for our Annapolis-Digby Baptist Association.

It was an evening of warm and hearty memories and greetings from various pastors and churches in our Association that have known and appreciated the work and ministry of both Ron and Wayne over the past 10+ years they have served in that capacity.  Both had also served as pastors at one time in the area as well.

They were thanked for their availability and willingness to serve the LORD over the years, utilizing their many gifts and abilities and love for local churches and they look forward to new opportunities to serve the LORD as He directs for the years ahead.

A wonderful turkey dinner and great fellowship was enjoyed by all in attendance.
