“Borderland Churches: Becoming the Church for Today”

... with Dr. Gary Nelson, General Secretary of Canadian Baptist Ministries, dynamic speaker and author of Borderland Churches

Registration is at 10am, followed by a time of worship and praise, a short business meeting, and then an informative and interactive day with Gary.

Offerings will be received for Canadian Baptist Ministries and the work of our Association.  Registration fee is $10 and includes lunch.

Rally Worship Service will be hosted by Digby Baptist on Sunday, March 28th at 2pm.

In the case of inclement weather, an announcement will be made on AVR/Magic 94.9.

to provide a three part workshop for forty pastors

on the theme

RISK MANAGEMENT FOR PASTORS

from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

on Tuesdays

April 27th, May 18th & June 8th

at the

New Minas Baptist Church

 

The $75 Workshop Fee

(cheque payable to the Region 2 Working Group)

and the Registration Form

are to be mailed to

by March 1, 2010.

The Regional Working Group for Region V is in search of a member to represent the Digby County churches.  This person would be able to attend daytime meetings and have some understanding of Association work.  If you feel the Lord calling you to serve in this capacity, please contact Rev.
